Brighton Park Golf Club Highlights

I want to thank everyone who participated in the Ti-Golf and made it a success. We had a record turnout to play and the scores were the lowest in memory. Thanks also go out to my fellow board members who worked hard to get the tournament and banquet done without much trouble. Thanks to all that donated door prizes and to those that hung around to help with clean up at the NOCO Pavilion.

Results from the Mystery 3 can be found under the club latest tab

Last Saturday Brighton and Sheridan played the annual Director's Cup. Sheridan came out on top by a score of 19 - 13. Most of the 6 hole matches came down to a putt on the last hole. Let's hope for better luck next year.

Congratulations to the following golfers, who won their class in The Club Championship:

Open - Jeremy Dill

Champ - Ken Czyz

A Class - Kevin Backstrom

B Class - John McIndoo

                                           C Class - Rob Palumbo

Congratulations to our 2016 Club Champion, Dan Giliforte who recently shot a "63" from the blue tees. This is  a new course record at Brighton.

This week we will be playing preferred lies in your own fairway only. Do not move the ball in the rough, another fairway, bunkers or hazards

Also a new local rules is in place.  The staked areas between Holes 7 + 9 and 10+ 11 will now be played as a lateral hazard.

Please remember to patronize our sponsors, without their support we wouldn't be able have the events and prizes that we do. While visiting them please let them know that you are from  the Brighton Park Golf Club and thank them for their sponsorship and support.
